Sony Xperia M2 a new mid-ranger smartphone from Sony Xperia

A new mid-ranger smartphone from Sony, it's the Sony Xperia M2 with great specifications.


Sony announced their flagship smartphone the Sony Xperia Z2 then later announced yet another smartphone but now it's a mid-ranger smartphone with great specifications and a budget friendly smartphone.

The Sony Xperia M2 houses a 4.8" TFT display with 540x960 pixels resolution, with the power of Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor, Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM, with its built-in storage of 8GM but expandable microSD storage up to 32GB and it is powered by 2300 mAh of battery.

The Xperia M2 camera is 8MP camera with Sony's Exmor RS sensor with LED flash that is capable of 1080p video recording.

For connectivity it's only 3G enabled HSPA (unspecified), UMTS, EDGE, GPRS and GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 with FM radio.

The M2 runs Google™ Android™ 4.3 (Jelly Bean MR2) but hopefully Sony will cater the KitKat version. The M2 will be made available in April.
