Battery Saving Tips


Here are some battery saving tips to get you moving!


The days when cell phones can last for a week or 2 on a single charge are gone, completely gone in this generation of new phones. Smartphones are equipped with powerful softwares and features that can kill your battery in hours. Listing to music, playing games, posting pictures and tweeting is fun but the moment you see your battery % isn't fun at all.



Here are some tips on how to conserve your battery life with easy, simple steps and just spending some money.





1. Adjust your brightness
This simplest tip is being used by many. Adjusting your brightness to your desire, with bright screen comes a shorter battery life so try to adjust it to conserve more power.



2. Turn Off Vibration
Its a great alternative for silent mode, but did you know that Vibrate mode actually consumes more power than any ringtones, Vibrate mode sends tiny vibrations in your speakers that uses more energy and making your battery life shorter.



3. Turn off connections (Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS)
Connections that are turned on can cause your battery life not to last longer, ON connections continuously search for new signals and takes up energy from your smartphone. Before you leave your house or anything remember to turn off your Wifi or Bluetooth to conserve battery and just turn it On if you need it.


4. Clear out apps
Force shut your running applications, open and running apps are one of your enemies when it comes to battery drainage, clear all running app if you don't clear them they will just run on your phone and will surely take half of your battery life.



5. Turn off push notifications
Push notifications are important but you need to turn it off, constant updating and displaying messages and alerts still consumes energy. Limit or turn it off if you don't need it to prevent it from draining your battery.



8. Temperature
Our smartphones are not designed for hot conditions, our battery runs out when our smartphones are warm. Don't leave your smartphone under or direct sunlight or in your car.

This is the most common problem, leaving our phone inside our car without knowing it can damage our phones battery with excessive heat, before going out your car remember to always bring your phone with you and don't just leave it there.



7. Spare or External Battery (power banks)
This option can be a pain in your wallet but its worth it. Getting a spare battery or external battery can keep you moving, got drained battery? no problem just get the extra battery and put it on. External battery can be expensive but it can keep you for a long day. Just remember to buy from trusted External Battery manufacturer to avoid any accidents.
